Born 9/28/1936 in Carter, Oklahoma, to Ralph A and G. Helen Nicholson. Attended 
school in Carter. Married Sam Walker on 11/11/1953. They resided in Shamrock, 
TX, after Sam was released from the Army. After her father's death, she and Sam 
raised cattle on her father's property in Oklahoma. Sam passed away on 
2/2/2005. She married Lawrence Overcast on 4/25/2008 and moved to Canute, 
Oklahoma. Later she moved to Austin, Texas and later to Katy, Texas, as she 
struggled with Alzheimer's. She was a member of the 11th Street Baptist Church 
in Shamrock for many years. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, 
Sam. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence, of Claude; son Jerry Don (Karen) 
Walker of Cleburne; son Michael (Connie) Walker of Lufkin; Daughter Tami Walker 
of Katy. Also survived by four grandchildren. Services 1/7/2016 at 11th STreet 
Baptist Church in Shamrock. Burial in Shamrock Cemetery.
