Born 6/4/1934 in Childress, TX, to Allen Williams and Denver Colorado Powell. 
Married Gene Payne on 4/4/1953, who died 3/22/2013. Survivors son Kent (Becky) 
Payne of Blanchard, OK; daughters Brenda (Ronnie) Dyson of Shamrock, TX and 
Carol (Ricky) Bentley of Bishop Hills. Brother Johnny Powell of Shamrock, 
sister-in-law Colleene Swedlow of Vida, OR; six grandchildren and two great 
grandchildren. Buried in Shamrock Cemetery under direction Robertson Funeral 
Directors of Shamrock, TX.
