Davis, aged 40 years, died Feb. 8, 1920, at his home, 1600 Fillmore. He was sick 10 days with an attack of influenza which developed into pneumonia, which caused his death. As the disease progressed, he grew better, and there was some hopes of his recovery, until past midnight Saturday, when he grew delirious. His weakened vitality gave way, and he passed away about 8 o'clock Sunday morning. Mr. Davis and wife have lived in Wichita Falls a number of years and have made many friends, all of whom extend their heartfelt sympathy to the inmates of the bereaved home. _At the time of his death, his wife, her mother, and his baby were all sick with influenza, the baby very low with pneumonia. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife and son, Harold, two years old; a mother, Mrs. S. F. Davis of Comanche, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Bay and Mrs. P. H. Couch, both of Comanche, and Mrs. George Hill, Eureka, Calif.; two brothers, F. Blake Davis, Santa Monica, Calif.; and Lewis E. Davis, San Francisco, Calif. _Mr. Davis was a member of the Central Presbyterian church of this city and also a W. O. W. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. Guy Davis, pastor of the Central Presbyterian church, and conducted under the auspices of the W. O. W. lodge. Burial in Riverside cemetery. Contributed.
