MOORE The Times has received the following obituary sketch of William C. Moore, formerly manager here for Neil P. Anderson: _The many friends of William C. Moore will regret to learn of his death Sunday, August 11, at 1:20 at the residence of his sister, Mrs. Mamie Allen of Strawn, Texas. Mr. Moore was born in Georgia in 1862 and had he lived until September would have reached the age of 50 years. _When quite small he came to Texas and lived in Ellis county upwards of twenty years. He represented the well known firm of Neil P. Anderson of Fort Worth and was recognized as one of the most efficient cotton buyers in the northwestern portion of the State. He is survived by four children, two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Garrett of Fort Worth, Claburn now in the army and Neil and Morchelle. The closing days of his life were spent with his only remaining sister, Mrs. Allen of Strawn to whom he was deeply attached. Mr. Moore united with the Presbyterian church in his early manhood and manifested an active interest in its welfare. He was also a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge at Ranger and of the Chapter at Cisco. _He was deeply appreciative of any kindness, warm hearted and self-sacrificing and possessing a type of manhood that finds a ready response in a large circle of friends who will mourn his loss. The body was interred at Ranger on Monday the 12th, the service being conducted by his pastor, Rev. Jas. Drummond. JAS DRUMMOND, Strawn, Texas, Aug. 12, 1912.
