All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ******************************************************************************** Wichita Daily Times Sunday, January 23, 1920 Elbert Pearce, 44, was suffering Thursday from some sort of poisoning, either wood alcohol or bi-chloride of mercury. The man had been employed by the Selden-Breck Construction company as a night watchman for some time and it is said he was for several years a prominent attorney at Waco. According to some letters found on his person he has two daughters who live at Waco, one who attends the high school there and the other a teacher in the Sacred Heart Academy and a mother and a sister, also in Waco. The body is being held at the parlors of O.W. Hines, the undertaker.
