Joni returned home in 1979, after getting her teaching degree from Hardin Simmons she and her son Billy Would begin a life on Jackson Street she taught elem school in Kidwell Elem and when her son got into Kindergarten she transfered to the other Elem school Bradford Elem and work their until her Son got into Jr high she would stop teaching and go to work at the Sheppard air force base working their until the summer of my freshman year at high school she decided to go back into teaching and took a job at Midway ISD teaching and starting going with the man I would later call my dad when they married in 1991 I left home in 1992 and moved back to Iowa Park finishing school and started working Mom would work for Midway Bowie and lastly the WFISD. In the Summer of 2008,Mom's life would never be the same she was told she had stage 2 breast cancer she had chemo and so on had the breast taken off and all had a bout with Pancreatitis in October being in the hospital 5 days she was involoved in many many organzations to numerous to count. Mom was a baptist.
