Death was attributed to a heart ailment. Services will be held here at 4 pm in the Community Church in North Vernon under the direction of Rev. Odell Brown, Nazarene pastor. Interment will be in East View Memorial Park beside her husband, J. O. Beatty who died about four years ago. The Underwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Of eight children, six sons and daughters survive Mrs. Beatty. They are Mrs. Hattie Daniel of Vernon and Mrs. Harry Strawn of Harrold and Willie Beatty of Vernon, Barney Beatty of Comanche, Oklahoma, Edgar Beatty of Harrold and G. P. Beatty of Hobart, Oklahoma. A number of grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Beatty was born in Mississippi on March 21, 1879. Since the death of her husband, a Wilbarger County farmer, she had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Harry Strawn of Harrold.
