e Bryant, 82, Laid to Rest

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel
for Joe Bryant, 84, of 2309 Wichita Street who died Wednesday morning in a local
hospital ofter a lengthy illness. Roy Bradshaw, officiated. Interment was in
East View Memorial Park.

Bryant, a retired meat cutter, was born August 18, 1897, a son of the late Mr.
And Mrs. Joseph Bryant. In 1918 he married Voney Puteet and later in 1946
married the late Ethel Moore. He came to Wilbarger County in 1964. He was a
member of the College Drive Church of Christ.

Surviving are two sons, two daughters, two brothers, four sisters, nine
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Bob Lowe, Max Bruce, John Keith, Floyd Scaff, Terry
Bruce and Vern Horsley.
