rs. Shumate Dies

Mrs. Audie Shumate, 79, of 1237 Ross, died about 12:15 pm Thursday at a local
hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Sullivan Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shumate was born April 25, 1901 in East Texas, a daughter of the late Mr.
And Mrs. R. L. Haynes of the Lockett Community.

She was a member of the Paradise Street Church of Christ. 

Surviving are a son, James L. Shumate of Martinez, Calif. and three daughters,
Mrs. Mattie Mae Watson, Mrs. Imogene Rocha and Mrs. Mary Jo Tresner of Ft.
Worth. Several grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
