There is a small green sign on the north side of County Road 120. The original iron fence is gone. At present (May 2001), it is enclosed by a netting wire fence. The owner of the property is Carl Deering of Georgetown. There are some unmarked graves and some evidence of broken gravestones. Someone has planted groundcover which covers much of the cemetery; while it looks nice, it makes it hard to determine where graves are located. Someone has done a lot of work cleaning and repairing broken gravestones. Eight stones not found on the 1975 survey are either new or now repaired and readable (Infant Magee, Lewis Wimberly, S. T. Hawkins, Dorcas Hawkins, Texanna Queen, Frances Dooley, Walter Queen, & Bryan Queen). One stone listed in 1975 (that of Sophia, daughter of M. H. & S. J. Brown, born June 8 1884, died Sep. 27, 1884) was not located but may be hidden beneath the groundcover. The new markers (since 1975) are Texanna Queen, Francis Dooley, Bryan Queen & Walter Queen. The strangest listing is the birth date of Dorcas Hawkins which is Sept. 8, 18107 ?? There is a guest book located in a metal box where relatives/descendents are invited to sign; the note at the front of the guest book is signed "Linda & Dixie".
