MARTHA BATTY

Services for Mrs. Martha Frances Green Batty, 62, will be held today at 5 p.m. 
at the McPeters Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Batty died Wed., Aug. 5, at the West Shore Hospital in Manistee, Michigan, 
after a brief illness. She was formerly of Corinth and a resident of Austin, Texas. 
She was a graduate of Mississippi State College for Women.

Burial will be in the Henry Cemetery. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. E.S. 
Furr and the Rev. David Comperry. McPeters Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, William E. Batty of Austin; one son, Richard E. Batty 
of Margate, Florida; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Green Whitehead of Corinth; one brother, 
John H. Green, Sr. of Corinth; and 2 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to a American Heart Association.
