Several children have died and a number of the public schools have been suspended. Only one family in the town has yet been afflicted with the disease. Mrs. Mayfield, wife of Dr. Mayfield, residing near Deanville, in this county, was buried yesterday. She leaves a large circle of mourning relatives and friends.
