STUART - Marie B. Lafferty of Floresville, Texas , and formerly of Stuart died 
Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, in Wilson Memorial Hospital , Floresville.
        
A native of Millville , N.J. , she lived in Floresville for three years. She 
moved there from Stuart, where she lived for 24 years.
        
Before retirement, she was a licensed practical nurse and the manager of a 
nursing home in Haddon Heights , N.J.
        
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Stuart.
        
Survivors include two sons, Charles J. Lafferty and wife Virginia of Boynton 
Beach, and William G. Lafferty and wife Patsy of Williamstown, N.J.; a 
daughter, Joan E. Lafferty of Elmendorf, Texas; five grandchildren; and seven 
great-grandchildren.
        
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at St. Joseph 
Catholic Church, Stuart.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm 
City.
