Warren Crothers was to preside, with the assistance of Eddie Johnson. Burial was to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Allen died May 7, 2000, in Decatur. He was born on Nov. 14, 1912, in Denison. Allen was the owner of a freight delivery service. He married the late Alma Louise England Robinson Allen on Oct. 15, 1943, in Marietta, Okla. He served in the Army Air Corps. Allen was preceded in death by a brother, LeRoy Allen and a sister, Julia Miles. He is survived by a stepson and daughter-in-law, Frank and Naida Robinson of Decatur; one brother, Earl Allen of Childress; one sister, Bernice Clark of Decatur; one step-grandchild; one step-great-grandchild; four step-great great-granchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
