Burial was to follow at Alvord Cemetery. Anderson died Feb. 13, 2000, in Decatur. Born Oct. 3, 1931, in Clovis, N.M., Anderson was a welder and a foreman of a construction company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alvord and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He married Beverly Gayle Miller on July 29, 1954, in El Paso. Anderson was also a member of the El Paso Masonic Lodge #130 AF and AM, and he was a member of the El Maida Temple and York Rite. Survivors include his wife, Beverly of Alvord; his step-father, Eugene Walls of El Paso; two sons, Timothy Ray Anderson of Alvord and Terry Ray Anderson of Fort Worth; a daughter, Mitzee Carol Porter of Mulege, Mexico; a sister, Shirley Buie of Alvord; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. ----------
