                      Ken Anderson  1931-2000
     
Service for Ken Anderson, 68, of Alvord was to be at 10 a.m., Wednesday,
Feb. 16 at the First Baptist Church of Alvord. Burial was to follow at 
Alvord Cemetery. Anderson died Feb. 13, 2000, in Decatur.
        
Born Oct. 3, 1931, in Clovis, N.M., Anderson was a welder and a foreman
of a construction company. He was a member of the First Baptist Church 
of Alvord and a U.S. Air Force veteran. 

He married Beverly Gayle Miller on July 29, 1954, in El Paso. 
Anderson was also a member of the El Paso Masonic Lodge #130 AF and AM,
and he was a member of the El Maida Temple and York Rite.
          
Survivors include his wife, Beverly of Alvord; his step-father, Eugene 
Walls of El Paso; two sons, Timothy Ray Anderson of Alvord and Terry Ray
Anderson of Fort Worth; a daughter, Mitzee Carol Porter of Mulege, 
Mexico; a sister, Shirley Buie of Alvord; six grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren.
