Bailey 1919-2000 Service for Ray V. Bailey, 80, of Decatur, was to be Sunday, May 14, at 2 p.m. at Coker Funeral Home Chapel. Bill Marion Bailey was to officiate. Burial was to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation was to be Saturday, from 7 to 8 p.m. Bailey died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at his home. Born Sept. 22, 1919, in Matador, he was retired from General Motors and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He married Oma Louise Mowell on Oct. 31, 1942, in Terrell. He is survived by his wife, Louise Bailey; a son, Bill Bailey of Rhome; two daughters, Raynell Meyers of Southlake and Linda Ozburn of Decatur and six grandchildren.
