J.T. Bolin
1916-2000

Service for J.T. Bolin, 83, of Boyd was to be Wednesday, April 19, at 
2 p.m. at the Christian Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Boyd. The Rev. Jimmy 
Withers was to officiate and burial was to follow at Boyd Cemetery.
Bolin died April 17, 2000, in Boyd. 

Born Nov. 19, 1916, in Justin, Bolin lived in Boyd and was a veteran 
of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. 
He was retired from General Portland Concrete Plant of Fort Worth. 
He was also a member of the Farm Bureau and the American Quarter Horse 
Association. 

Bolin was preceded in death by two sons, two sisters and a brother.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ethel Bolin and Richard 
Martinez; two brothers, Tom and Virgil Bolin; two sisters, Jessie 
Followville and Dorothy Palmer; five grandchildren and six 
great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
