The Rev. Joe Stevens will preside, assisted by Darrall Akers and Sonny Smith. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation was to be on Wednesday, March 1, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Coker Funeral Home in Decatur. Boston died on Feb. 28, 2000, in Boyd. He was born April 28, 1936, in Durant, Okla. He was a machinist for ATL. Boston married Joann Brasil on May 17, 1958, in Oklahoma. He was a deacon at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church . He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Boston. Boston is survived by his wife Joann of Boyd; four sons and daughters-in-law, James and Darlen, Rick and Barbara, Robert , Roddy and Susanne Boston; a sister, Tora Bell Duncan of Durant; eight grandchildren, James Earl and his wife Angela, Bobby Wayne, Stephanie Michelle, Dalton Cole, James Andrew, Joshua Drue, John Harvey and Caitlyn Elizabeth; and two great-grandchildren, Zander and Garvin Boston. -----------------
