                        Patti Cook
                       1934-2000

Funeral for Patti Cook, 65, of Paradise, was to be Wednesday, April 5 
at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Paradise. 
The Rev. Robert Owensby was to officiate and burial was to follow in 
Cottondale Cemetery.
Cook died April 3, 2000, in Fort Worth.

She was born Dec. 17, 1934, in Dallas. A resident of Wise County since
1973, she retired as an administrative assistant at TXI in 1998 after 
22 years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of 
Paradise, a lifetime member of the PTA and a member of the Generations 
Club. 

She married Ray Cook on Dec. 24, 1954, in Dallas.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ray Cook Sr.; two sons and 
daughters-in law, Ray Jr. and Judy Cook and Larry and Debbie Cook; a 
daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Scott Cheves; honorary mother, 
Lucille Schunter and her husband, Bill; and six grandchildren, Kristin,
Kameron, Monica, Trevor, Lauren and Kelsey.

Pallbearers were to be Jimmy Wilson, Marty Bush, Bobby Cook, Jr., Sam 
Cook, Jr., Mark Wilson, Kevin Cook, Sha Clayton and Shawn Clayton.
