Burial was to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1. Sutton died Feb. 1, 2000, in Fort Worth. Born Sept. 25, 1930, in Coryell County, Sutton was a cafeteria worker with the Kennedale school district and a member of the Landmark Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Lasater. Survivors include her husband, Leonard G. Sutton of Fort Worth; two sons, Gary Lasater of Decatur and Buddie Lasater of Stephenville; three step-children, Leonard Gene Sutton of Megargel, Phillip Sutton of Fort Worth and Barbara Pringle of Fort Worth; two brothers, Leroy Scaff of Pilot Point and Edward Scaff of Brownwood; a sister, Alvina Cox of Temple; six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. -----------------------------------------------------------------------
