     Dorothy Christine Denton - 30 Dec 1922 - 28 Jan 2000

Service for Dorothy Christine Denton, 77, of Balsora was Monday, Jan 31
at the Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport. Dr. Bill Dye officiated 
and burial followed at Willow Point Cemetery near Balsora.
Denton died Jan. 28, 2000, in Decatur.

Born Dec. 30, 1922, in Fort Worth, Denton was a homemaker. 
She previously worked at Bridgeport Middle School Cafeteria and the 
Corner Drug Store for 12 years.

She married Burlon John Denton on Oct. 3, 1952, in Fort Worth.

Survivors include her husband, Burlon John Denton of Balsora; two sons 
and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Joann Denton and Charles and Helen 
Denton; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jerry Hearrell; two 
sisters, Rosemary Eden and Eleanor Kennedy; six grandchildren, Carolyn,
John, Jennifer, Alicia, Kelly and Kristi; and seven great-grandchildren,
Erin, Anthony, Blake, Hutton, Jacob, Jesse and Amanda.

Pallbearers were John Denton, Bill Gilliand, Joey Boyd, Dan Olson, Tommy
Denton, Byron Denton and Sam Denton.
