              Easter Elizabeth Ellis
                   1907-2000

Easter Elizabeth Ellis, 93, of Decatur died on May 7, 2000, in Decatur.

She was born on March 31, 1907, in Lancaster. She was a retail clerk 
for Gibson's department store and a Baptist.
No service has been set at this time.

Ellis is survived by two sons, John Ellis of St. Petersburg, Fla. and 
Carl Ellis of Gulfport, Miss.; six daughters, Charlotte Johnson of 
Decatur, Arah Putter of Houston, Deanna Lander of Canton, Bettie Ann 
Sloan, Ina Banford and Illona Ellis, all of Dallas; a brother, Marian 
Bass of Glen Rose; three sisters, Lorena Roome of St. Petersburg and 
Margaret Susong and Laura McIntire, both of Dallas; 20 grandchildren; 
31 great-grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
