Glenda Louise Gentry
1936-2000

Service for Glenda Louise Gentry, 63, of Bridgeport, was Tuesday, May 2,
at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Gary Demmitt officiated. 
Burial followed at the East Bridgeport Cemetery. Gentry died Sunday, 
April 30, 2000, in Decatur.

Born Dec. 5, 1936, in Cottondale, she was a lifetime resident of Wise 
County. She was a secretary and bookkeeper for Womack Trucking in 
Bridgeport for 43 years and worked for Dr. William E. Huddleston two 
years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in 
Bridgeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Eula Mae Gentry and 
her sister, Bobbye Harms.

She is survived by a nephew, Jimmy Harms of Bridgeport; a niece, Darla 
Daniel and her sons, Bryant and Jordon of Bridgeport and numerous 
cousins.

Pallbearers were Joe DeLuna, Butch Garrett, Charles Kaker, Eldon Kaker,
Mark Grote, Carl Ray Jones, Lawrence Holley and Carl White.
