'Red' Haney 1933-2000 Service is Sunday, April 2, at 2 p.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home for J.C. "Red" Haney, 67, of Chico. Burial will be in the Chico Cemetery. His brother, the Rev. Donald Haney of Bowie, will officiate. Haney died Friday, March 31, 2000, in Decatur. He was born Feb. 4, 1933, in Durant, Okla. He was a retired production engineer. Survivors include two sons, J.C. Haney III and Jack Haney, both of Austin; two brothers, Donald Haney and Harold Haney, both of Bowie; two sisters, Louise Weatherly and Glenda Anderson, both of Chico; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. -------------------------------------------
