                 Dorothy Dove Whistler Hilliard
                           1913-2000

Service for Dorothy Dove Whistler Hilliard, 86, of Richland Hills was
to be Saturday, March 25, at the Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel
in Corsicana. The Rev. Russell Bankes was to officiate. Burial was to
follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Hilliard died March 22, 2000, in Richland Hills.

Born Nov. 14, 1913, in Scurry, Hilliard married Orbrie Lee "Buster"
Hilliard on Aug. 17, 1935. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, A.J. Whistler and her
husband, Orbrie Lee Hilliard.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Ruth and John
William Fuller of Boyd; three grandchildren, Sean Fuller of Murchison,
Brian Scott Fuller of Hurst and Phalassa Fuller of Boyd; a great-
granddaughter, Kassidy Shaun Fuller of Murchison; three sisters and a
brother-in-law, Lela Holt of Pomona, Calif., Nina and C.M. Pope of
Tyler and Nora Edith Davis of Corsicana; and many nieces, nephews and
cousins.

Pallbearers were to be Jimmy Whistler, Troy Sykes, Steve Weeks, Brian
Fuller, Percy Brown and Bobby Whistler.
Honorary pallbearer was to be Alvie Whistler.
