Homer Leo Hilton - 1910-2000

Service for Homer Leo Hilton, 89, of Decatur, was Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000,
at Coker Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur. The Rev. Jack Gatewood 
officiated. Burial followed at Preskitt Cemetery in Decatur.
Hilton died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, in Decatur.

Born Feb. 8, 1910, in Wise County, he was a building contractor and a 
member of the Decatur Oddfellows Lodge.
He married Edna Jones on May 18, 1933, in Texarkana.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Wayne and Michael Hilton.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Hilton of Decatur; a son, Ronald Hilton
of Irvine, Calif.; a daughter, Patricia Hilton of Bluefield, W.Va.; 
a brother, G.W. Hilton of Fort Worth; ten grandchildren; and eight 
great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tommy Tyler, Jack, Stanley, Stanford, Paul and Donald
 Hilton.
