Keener 1932-2000 Funeral for Allen J. Keener, 67, of Fort Worth, is Thursday, April 6, at 10:30 a.m. at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. The Rev. Norman Abernathy will officiate and burial will follow in Anneville Cemetery. A lifetime resident of Fort Worth, Keener died April 2, 2000, at his home. Born July 14, 1932, in Ranger, he married Marilyn Little July 25, 1958, in Jacksboro. He served in the Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired price analyst for Bell Helicopter. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn Keener of Fort Worth; son, Steve Keener of Fort Worth; daughter and son-in-law Terri and Steve Ellis of Boyd; grandsons, Tommy Ellis and Keith and Christopher Hulsey; sister, Helen Jean Stone of Graham; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Raymond Hayes, Benjamin Whatley, Mark Sanders, Joseph Sanders, Jonathan Huckabee and Brian Britt. --------
