Born March 23, 1929, in Wichita, Kan., Lawhon was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Eureka Lodge No. 371 A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite, K.C.C.H., U.S. Air Force and the First United Methodist Church of Springtown. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Edith. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Patty Lawhon of Newark; a daughter and son-in-law, Collette and Ronnie Bayless of Springtown; a sister, Muriel Goll of Ponca City, Okla.; four grandchildren, Scott Bayless, Deena Tedder and her husband Chad and Dakota Lawhon; three great-grandchildren, Dylan, J.T. and Baret Tedder; and several nieces and nephews. -------------------------------
