The Rev. Michael Cheves officiated and burial followed at Willow Point Cemetery in Balsora. McLane died Jan. 30, 2000, in Dallas. Born Aug. 18, 1925, in Denison, McLane was a homemaker and a member of the Wizard Wells Baptist Church. She married Dean McLane on Dec. 1, 1985, in Willow Point. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Cheves; her granddaughter, Jade Chivers; a daughter, Linda Archer; and eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, Dean McLane; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Vicki Cheves; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Paul Odell, Lorez and Tom Chivers and Billie and Melvin Clay; two brothers, Jay Durbin and Al Durbin; two sisters, Alice Reanau and Anna Mae Wright; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Tim Odell, Wayland Odell, Michael Cheves, Mark Cheves, Tyler Olsen, Joey Louvat, Brad Archer and Nathan Clay. Honorary pallbearers were David Moore and Bill Kinkaid.
