                    Jack Parrent 1919-2000

Service for Jack Parrent, 80, of Bowie was to be Saturday, Feb. 19, at 
the Coker Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur. James Wood was to preside.
Burial was to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Parrent died on 
Feb. 17, 2000, in Bowie.

He was born on Feb. 19, 1919, in Fort Worth. He was retired from the 
auto body restoration business. 
He married Hazel Bernice Klose in Bowie on June 1, 1981. Parrent was a 
U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II. He was also a long-time 
member of the Decatur Eighters Square Dance Club. 

He was preceded in death by a son, Mike Parrent on Feb. 21, 1997.

Parrent is survived by his wife, Hazel of Bowie; a son, Jackie Parrent 
of Gainesville; three stepsons, David and Kenneth Geis of Bowie and 
Ronny Doran of North Richland Hills; eight grandchildren; and four 
great-grandchildren.
