         Virginia Edythe Patterson - 1923-2000

Service for Virginia Edythe Patterson, 76, of Wichita Falls, was 
Tuesday, Feb. 22 at the Hampton Vaughan Crestview Chapel in Wichita 
Falls. The Rev. Darius McKay officiated. Patterson died Saturday, Feb. 
19, 2000, in Wichita Falls.

Born Dec. 15, 1923, in Crafton, she lived in Wichita Falls most of her 
life. She married Paul Patterson on March 18, 1943. She was a homemaker,
a member of the Trinity Baptist Church and the Eastern Star, Dundee 
Chapter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Patterson, on July 14, 
1999.

She is survived by a son, Joe Patterson of Wichita Falls; a daughter, 
Nancy Bannenberg of Grand Prairie; a brother-in-law, Bobby Patterson of
Lawton, Okla., three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
