Katherine Fae Read - 1917 - 2000

Service for Katherine Fae Read, 82, of Bridgeport, was Monday, Feb. 7, 
2000, at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport. The Rev. 
Butch Gott officiated. Burial followed at the East Bridgeport Cemetery.
Read died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, in Decatur. Born Dec. 12, 1917, in 
Paradise, she was a homemaker and a member of the Cates St. Baptist 
Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Read in 1989.
She is survived by her son, Dickey and wife Eva Read; her daughter,
Frankie Ann and husband C.L. Williams; four grandchildren, Thresia, 
Kerrie, D.J. and Chris; and eight great-grandchildren.
