Cletus Douglas Rich
1948-2000

Service for Cletus Douglas Rich, 52, of Paradise, was Friday, April 28,
at the Jefferson Unitarian Church in Fort Worth.
Rich died Tuesday, April 25, 2000.

Born Dec. 10, 1948, in Providence, Ky., he graduated from Western 
Kentucky University and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973 to 1993.
He retired as a major. He was awarded the Meritorious Service medal, 
the Air Force Commendation medal with three oak leaf clusters and the 
Air Force Achievement medal with one oak leaf cluster. While in the Air
Force, he earned a second bachelors degree in nursing from West Texas 
State University. He also earned a masters degree in nursing in 1994 
from the University of Texas at Arlington. He was a member of USCTA and
was president of the board of the Brazos Valley Hunt Club in Wise 
County. He was a representative for Excel Communications.

He is survived by John Huffman; children, Cathy, Scott and Kimberly; 
a grandson, Evan Matthew Lincoln and his parents, Cletus M. and Mary E.
Rich.
