     Roy E. Willis Sr. - 2 July 1929 - 25 Jan 2000

Service for Roy E. Willis Sr., 70, of Boyd was to be Friday, Jan. 28,
at the Christian-Hawkins Chapel in Boyd. The Rev. Bill May was to 
officiate. Burial was to follow at the Boyd Cemetery.
Willis died Jan. 25, 2000, in Fort Worth.

Born July 2, 1929, in West Bridgewater, Mass., Willis moved to Texas in
July 1998 and was employed as a mechanic for Lucini Motors 39 years.
He married Viola Lapthorn on Aug. 31, 1949, in Seabrook, N.H.

He is survived by his wife, Viola J. Willis of Boyd; his sons, Roy E. 
and wife Pamela Willis of Easton, Mass. and Steven A. and wife Clare 
Willis of Mesa, Ariz.; a daughter, Karen Rego of Boyd; a brother, 
Albert Willis; his sisters, Gladys Willis, Ruth Smart, Dorothy Reed and
Bertha and eight grandchildren, Tracey, Jackson, Shannon, Casey, 
Thomas, Cary, James and Catherine.

Pallbearers were Ray Willis, Jr., Dee Vandergriff, Curtis Mal, Steven
Willis, Chris Brennan and Billy Couch.
