                      Robert 'Bob' Venable
                      1917-2000

Service for Robert Venable, 83, of Holdenville Okla., was May 15, at the
Assembly of God Church with internment following at the Holdenville 
Cemetery. Venable died May 12, 2000, in Holdenville.

He was born Jan. 30, 1917, in Arkansas. He worked for Citgo for 36 
years.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Bonnie; a son, Jerry Venable; two
daughters, Bobbie Harrison of Alvord and Wilma Glover; a brother, J. C.
Venable; five sisters, Mary Cain, Becky Norman, Doris Davis, Eunice 
January and Roberta Hensley; five grandchildren and six 
great-grandchidren.
