     Stella Mae Waldrop - 1918-2000

Service for Stella Mae Waldrop, 82 of Boyd was to be at 2 p.m. Wednesday,
Feb. 9 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Hurst
officiating. Burial was to follow in Boyd Cemetery. 
Waldrop died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000 in Fort Worth. She was born Jan. 2, 
1918, in Wise County.

She was married to Hubert Waldrop, who preceded her in death. She was a 
member of the Abundant Life Worship Center.

Survivors include a son, Billy Ottis Waldrop; two daughters, Janie L. Burk
and Ann Lee Fry; a brother, Bill Simpson; a sister, Clayton Simpson; 
seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were to be Chris Fry, Mikel Roberts, Sonny Pewitt, Clyde 
Odell, Mike Floyd and Harold Norris.
