The Rev. Gonzo Morales presided. Burial followed in the Mexican Cemetery in Bridgeport. Ziomek died on Feb. 2, 2000, in Bridgeport. She was born on March 27, 1921, in Ruda Rozaniecka, Poland. She was a homemaker who came to the United States from Poland in 1984. She was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church in Bridgeport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jan Ziomek; her mother, Agnieszka Stankiewicz; and four brothers. She is survived by a son, Jan Ziomek of Poland; four daughters, Helena Beavers of Bridgeport and Janina Zaborniak, Maria Farion and Zofia Hec, all of Poland; a sister, Ann Driscill of Lindsay, Okla.; and 11 grandchildren - Agnieszka, Kasia, Krzysio, John, Tomek, Marta, Ania, Ela, Pawet, Grzesio and Piotrus. Pallbearers were E. C. Beavers, Tommy Beavers, Krzysio Beavers, John Beavers, Rusty Moore and Joe Stransky. ------------
