Father Gonzo will officiate. Anaya died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, in Decatur. Born Aug. 19, 1925, in New Braunfels, she married Ernesto Anaya on Feb. 23, 1974, in Reno, Nev. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to cook for her family and travel all over the United States to visit her children and loved ones. She was preceded in death by a son, Arnulfo Losoya; a daughter, Guadalupe Losoya Valencia and a brother, Ramon Rivera. She is survived by her husband, Ernesto; three sons, Vidal Rivera, Robert Losoya and Jose Armando Losoya; two daughters, Olga Losoya Martinez and Angela Rivera and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Letha Ora Denney 1903-2000 Graveside service for Letha Ora Denney, 97, of Clarendon was Tuesday, Jan. 2, in Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 3 in Chico. The Rev. Jerry L. Miller officiated. Denney died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, in Amarillo. Born Sept. 6, 1903, in Collin County, she was a resident of Decatur before moving to Clarendon in 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hobart, Okla. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Nelson Christie of Clarendon; one sister, Lizzie Mae Jones of Decatur; two grandchildren, Mike Christie of Gallup, N.M. and Jane Roanhorse of Chinle, Ariz. and three great grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Henry R. ‘Hank’ Huffman 1929-2000 Service for Henry R. 'Hank' Huffman, 71, of Montague was Monday, Jan. 1, in the First Baptist Church in Montague. Burial was in Montague Cemetery. The Revs. Darius McKay and Brad Cartmill officiated. Huffman died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, in a Bowie hospital. Born Sept. 14, 1929, in Trent, he was a longtime Alvord resident before moving to Montague 14 years ago. He was a retired educator and had taught school at Alvord and Bowie and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Montague. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was awarded two Purple Heart medals. Survivors include his wife, Georgia Faye of Montague; three daughters, Margaret and husband Roger Hinton of Altus, Okla; Becky and husband Bill Woods of Garland; Debi and husband Robert Kunisch of Hutto; three sons, Robert Allen and wife Debra Huffman of Tacoma, Wash.; Bucky Stephenson of Lipan; David and wife Maureen Huffman of Abilene; a brother, Edward Huffman of Odessa; a sister, Minnie Myrick of Cedar Park; one special niece, Gail Matthews of Alvord; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Montague. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Larry James Webb 1939-2000 Larry James Webb, 61, of Keller, a former officer of the First National Bank of Rhome and an executive at Star Tank and Trailer Mfg.. Co. in Rhome, died December 31 at a Bedford hospital. Funeral was to be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel with burial in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Webb was born August 23, 1939 in Oklahoma City. He was a retired executive with Modern Welding Co., Inc. He was a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard and was a 29 year resident of Keller and a member of the First Baptist Church of Keller. Survivors include his wife Judy Webb, daughter Kellie Dixon of Abilene and son Kenneth Webb of Keller. He is also survived by his mother Lillian Webb of North Richland Hills and brothers Doug Webb of Keller and Glen Webb of Euless and five grandchildren. He died Monday, Jan 1, 2001, in Wichita Falls. Howard was born June 1, 1921, in Hayworth, Okla. He was a World War II Army veteran and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Diana; two sons, Richard and Michael Howard of Paradise; a daughter, Georgia Lee Dollhopf of Milwaukee, Wis.; two brothers, William Howard of Stephenville and O.B. Born March 3, 1960, in Oklahoma City, Okla, to Duane and Fay Houghlin, he was employed by Ogden Aviation at DFW Airport. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. He moved to Texas in 1970 and attended schools in Hurst and Keller, graduating from Keller High School in 1978. He received his associate’s degree from Mountain View College in Dallas and his A and P license from the Braniff School of Maintenance in the early 1980s. He was preceded in death by his father, Duane C. Houghlin. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Fay and Guy MacFarland of Searcy, Ark.; three sisters, Sheree Castaneda and husband Dan of Pasadena, Julie Barton and husband David of Tryon, N.C. and Anna Franklin of Arlington; two brothers, Jeff Houghlin and wife Connie of Brush, Colo. and Tom Franklin of Keller; and seven nephews and nieces, Karen and Derek Castaneda, Jonathan, Adam and Will Barton and Kelley and Alison Houghlin. He was an inspector for General Dynamics and retired after 33 years. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the 3rd Army under General George S. Patton. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Paradise. He married Lillian Kalenda on Dec. 20, 1945, in Kansas City, Kan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lillian Ruth Kalenda Musgrove; sons, Gerald E. Musgrove and wife Connie and Ralph D.
