She was active in Girl Scouts of America in the 1970s. Born Jan. 7, 1945, in Bonham to Frank and Lila Bishop, she eventually moved to Decatur, where she worked as the first community services coordinator for the county. She was also the first woman president of the Decatur Lions Club. She is survived by her mother, Lila Bishop of Bonham; a sister, Betty Bishop of Bonham; two sons, Robert M. Nunnelee Jr. and Russell B. Nunnelee, both of Irving; and a granddaughter, Christine A. Nunnelee. She was also a member of the Boyd High School track team, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Boyd First United Methodist Church where she was active in the youth group. She served as an officer and member of the Conference Council of Youth Ministries and was a member of the District Council of Youth Ministries, Chrysalis and the American Slovenian Catholic Union. He served as a minister in several Primitive Baptist Churches in Texas and Oklahoma. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1973 after 20 years of service.
