Jennie Walker Hambright was the oldest daughter of pioneers, Hiram Hinkston 
Howe Hambright and Sallie Lutecia Kerr Hambright.  The family moved from East 
Tennessee to Texas in 1878.  Jennie Walker Hambright was a bookkeeper for her 
brother-in-law, William Arthur Helm, at Helm-Ward-Dillehay Mercantile and the 
Decatur Motor Company on N. Trinity, owned by Mr. Helm.
