Katherine Wells Helm was the youngest daughter of pioneers Hiram Hinkston Howe 
Hambright and Sallie Lutecia Kerr Hambright.  The family moved from East 
Tennessee to Texas in 1878.  Katherine married Wise County pioneer and 
businessman, William Arthur Helm and moved to Decatur, Texas.  They were active 
with the Methodist Church.
