The larger area is enclosed in a wire fence with a smaller portion within a native rock wall. The oldest death date noted is 1884; however, a local resident who lived in the area as a child recalled her mother telling her that the first one buried here was a railroad worker who died in 1872. The number of unmarked graves has not been determined. The cemetery was surveyed in 1970. The Junior Historians from Mineola High School, under the sponsorship of the Landmark Commission, are currently (2002) undertaking the cleanup and restoration of the cemetery. H. and Samantha Ruple) (died @ 10y, 9m, 5days) DURR, Mary E. d. 10 Sep 1890 @ 4y, 6m, 2 weeks POWER, M. A. 16 June 1855 - 5 Jan 1884 "She believed and sleeps in Jesus." POWER, M. W. 1905 (one date only) Jones, Rejina died 4 Oct 1890, aged 40 years (wife of J. P. Jones) (marker broken) WORSHAM, Ethel 12 July 1899 - 23 Dec 1900 (dau of W. D. and M. E.
