It will be remembered that on December 20, 1921, her husband attacked her and in a brutal manner beat her brains out. Sad, sad, indeed, as she was just a child, only 14, and just in the prime of life, had planned a home of her own and was enjoying life until that awful Tuesday when she received the wound that caused her death. For 91 days she bore her suffering with patience, never complaining. She never spoke or moved her right side after the beating. All of her young friends spent many hours with her, and Dr. J. L.
