Luther Lindsey serviced held at Perryville

Funeral services for Luther E. Lindsey, 86, of Beaumont,
former Winnsboro resident, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday
Dec, 29, 1965 at the Perryville Baptist Church with Rev.
Jack Comer officiating. Burial was at Perryville cemetery.
A native of Wood county, he was born Jan 9, 1879.
He was married first to Clayton Hester who died in 1913.
He later married Virgie Corbitt who died in 1937.
Survivors  include 10 children, Raymond Lindsey, Monahans,
Travis Lindsey, California, Mrs. Beryl Comer, Beaumont,
Steve Lindsey, Henderson, Nev., Jean Lindsey, New Orleans, La.
C. L. Lindsey and Billy Lindsey, Corpus Christi, Homer T. 
Lindsey Ft. Worth, George Lindsey and Thurman Lindsey both
of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Walling, Newsome, Mrs.
Alma Stolp, Commerce, 16 grandchildren and several great
grandchildren.
