Burial was in Shady Grove Cemetery Wood County. Lindsey died June 27 in a Tyler hospital. He was born January 25, 1928, in Girven to the late Lou Eaf and Virgie Corbitts Lindsey. He served in the Army from 1946 until 1950 and worked for Houston ILA 20 as a longshoreman. He was a member of Saint Francis Episcopal Church of Winnsboro. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Betty Tuttle Lindsey, Winnsboro; son, Kenneth Lindsey, Pocatelo, Idaho, daughter, Robin Dudash, Lake Charles, Louisiana; brother Billy Lindsey, Houston; three grandchildren; and one great -grandchild. Pallbearers included Albert Dudash and Kenneth Lindsey. If desired, memorials may be made to Saint Francis Episcopal Church Building Fund.
