Cemetery is near the old Scrogum place and is enclosed in a chain link fence. Huber, Bernhard "Barney", 16 December 1837 - December 1881 son of Benedict Huber and Francisca "Frances" Weiler and husband of Itha "Ida" Schmidt who he married 18 August 1857 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Zell, Ste. Genevieve Co., MO with Rev. F.X. Weiss officiating. [Young County history indicates he was killed in his blacksmith shop by unknown assailant. The remains of the Huber dug out are near the cemetery as well as the location of the blacksmith shop. Bernhard Huber came to Young County in 1876 by ox cart. He settled on 160 acres of land near School creek. His land claim was filed in Austin on 18 April 1878. His wife, Itha "Ida" Schmidt Huber continued to live on the Huber family farm until 1911. She died 16 November 1935 in Jermyn, Jack County, Texas.] Huber, infant Huber, infant Huber, infant Streun, [John] Arnold, husband of Pauline "Polly" Huber, 8 February 1852 - 28 December 1887 [Arnold Streun and Polly Huber were married 1 August 1881 in Young County, Texas. Book A., Volume 2, page 116] Streun, infant Streun, infant [One grave stone has been cemented half way indicating the stone was possibly broken at one time. The grave is unknown. The marble grave stone has a Catholic cross and the words "Farewell" atop a cement block.]
