The cemeery was given by Gustavous Adolphus Graham, one of the founders of Graham. Mr. Graham and Captain A.B. Gant surveyed the cemetery for public use. The only man hung in Young County is buried here, escaped prisoners, men involved in gunfights and paupers. The cemetery has been known as "Potter's Field" and "Pauper's field." From Young County records, graves were moved from this cemetery when the Oak Grove cemetery opened. The cemetery is located east of Pioneer cemetery.
