Mr. Leak was retired from the U.S. Post Office. In later years he developed a love for computers and enjoyed building them. He also enjoyed metalworking on his lathe and other machinery. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a 50-year-plus member of the Lions Club, a member of the Young and Jack County Pecan Growers Association and a longtime resident of Graham. Bobby Joe Williams GRAHAM -- Bobby Joe Williams, 74, an oil producer, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 6 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery. Bobby was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. He was an independent oil producer and cattle raiser. Survivors: Wife, Genelle Williams of Graham; sons, Stan Williams of Bacliff, Bobby Kent Williams of Olney and Trey Williams of Little Rock, Ark.; sisters, Shirley Gray of Graham and Frances Hiendel of Palmdale, Calif.; brother, Henry Williams of Odessa; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Harry Max Feather GRAHAM -- Harry Max Feather, 93, a retired civil service instructor in airplane mechanics, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002 at a Mineral Wells hospital. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, in Pioneer Cemetery in Graham. Memorials: Charity of choice. He moved to Graham in 1990 from Wichita Falls. Survivors: Wife, Carolyn Feather of Graham; daughter, Carol Parry of Graham; three sisters, Nellie Mae Gohlke of Wichita Falls, Margaret Jordan of Marshall and Elsie McGinty of Bastrop; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Thelma Loes McCarty GRAHAM -- Thelma Loes McCarty, 79, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002 in Graham. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2002 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Tonk Valley Cemetery in Young County. Survivors: Husband, Edgar McCarty of Graham; two daughters, Janie Dudley and Judy Burgess of Amarillo; son, James McCarty of Graham; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
