Albert Allen Crites, 88, died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, in Graham. Graveside
service was Friday, June 11, at Gooseneck Cemetery in Young County under the
direction of McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home.

Mr. Crites was born May 20, 1916, in Shenandoah, Iowa. He was a lieutenant
detective with the Lubbock Police Department and retired as an investigator for
the Texas Board of Medical Examiners in 1981.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dell Crites.

Survivors include two daughters, Rosa Mae Boyd of Penrose, Colo., and Carolyn
Arlene Mascola of Springfield, Mo.; a son, Allen Crites of Van Alstyne; a
sister, Irene Lavey of Rush, Colo., and nine grandchildren.
