Emmons, 90, of Olney died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Hamilton Hospital in Olney. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 27, at Lunn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Collard, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, officiating. Burial followed at Restland Cemetery. Mrs. Emmons was born March 5, 1914, in Eliasville to the late Roy and Zona (Townsend) Pardue. She married Charles Ray Emmons Nov. 7, 1931, in Seiling, Okla. He preceded her in death Oct. 18, 1998. She graduated from Eliasville High School. She was a beautician and owned and operated a beauty shop in Graham during World War II. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Norman Emmons and wife Lynn of Arlington and Allen Emmons and wife Mabel of Olney; a sister, Etta Pearl "Perky" Dowdle of Olney; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
